With the Netflix premiere on May 16th, the painful wait of more than two years for the new Bridgerton season is slowly coming to an end. To make things more exciting for fans and to get the buzz going around the love story of Colin Bridgerton and Penelope Featherington, Netflix and Shondaland have released a few first-look stills and two clips. But that's never enough.
Bridgerverse fans have already drooled over the first promo bits, and now they want a full trailer for Season 3, or at least a teaser with some new scenes to get the speculation game going. Luckily, we know exactly when to expect that big reveal, and it's just a few days away.
The Season 2 Rewatch
Last Friday, March 15, the official Bridgerton Instagram account announced a Season 2 rewatch party.
They are suggesting that viewers watch one episode of the story of Kate Sharma and Anthony Bridgerton, aka Kanthony, at the same time each day (9:30 AM PT/12:30 PM ET/4:30 PM GMT) for the eight days between March 17 and March 24. After the rewatch, fans can tune in to the special broadcast channel where new behind-the-scenes photos and videos will be posted daily.
The first batch of new material, including a never-before-seen photo of Jonathan Bailey and Simone Ashley as Anthony and Kate, has already landed on the channel, sending all Kanthony fans into a frenzy.
There will no doubt be more heartwarming images to come this week, but the most exciting release is definitely waiting for fans at the end of the journey, next Monday, March 25th.
The Season 3 Teaser
Bridgerton has a few notable dates when the promo team tends to treat fans to new tasty facts, photos and videos. One of them is March 25th. This day marks the date when the second season premiered in 2022.
While no official announcement has been made about anything coming next Monday, it is safe to say that the Season 2 rewatch exactly preceding its second anniversary is no coincidence, and we will definitely get a new Season 3 teaser in just one week.
It is hard to say if the drop will include an official full trailer or a shorter teaser, but the second is more likely since during the previous marketing campaigns the full trailer was released a couple of weeks before the premiere.
In any case, the new promo is a new promo, and we are already furiously circling March 25th on our calendars.
