Your must-watch list for the week of November 20-26.

Thanksgiving is usually a holiday spent with family and friends, but if you're not in the mood for social gatherings this year, there's a good reason to stay home and spend your day off in front of the TV: streaming and cable platforms are releasing some exciting new projects as well as new seasons of beloved series.

Here are six major premieres for your Thanksgiving binge-watching, and where to stream them.

Tuesday, November 21

Obituary

Where: Hulu

A journalist writing obituaries for a small Irish town's local newspaper is devastated to learn that she will be paid by the article, rather than the usual salary.

But when she 'accidentally' kills one of the annoying locals, she realizes that this is exactly what her business plan could be: unpleasant people die with her help, she writes obituaries and gets paid. But the seemingly perfect plan is disrupted when the newspaper hires a suspicious crime reporter.

All six episodes of Obituary land on Hulu on Tuesday.

Fargo (Season 5)

Where: FX, Hulu (next day)

The fifth chapter of Noah Hawley's iconic black comedy crime series centers on a housewife (Juno Temple) who harbors dark secrets from her past that land her in hot water with the authorities and a Western-style sheriff (Jon Hamm) who investigates her.

FX will air the first two episodes this Tuesday at 10pm ET, followed by eight more each week through January 16. The episodes will be available for streaming on Hulu the following day.

Wednesday, November 22

Squid Game: The Challenge

Where: Netflix

The reality competition based on Netflix's hit survival show is record-breaking in prize money (a whopping $4.56 million) and guaranteed to be a riveting watch full of physical and mental challenges, mind games, cunning human nature and unexpected twists.

Saturday, November 25

Doctor Who: The Star Beast

Where: Disney+, BBC

This is the first of three Doctor Who 60th anniversary specials, featuring the return of iconic showrunner Russell T. Davies and fan-favorite stars David Tennant and Catherine Tate as the Fourteenth Doctor and Donna Noble.

The specials continue with the release of Wild Blue Yonder on December 2 and The Giggle on December 9.

Sunday, November 26

Faraway Downs

Where: Hulu, Star (Disney+)

If you loved Baz Luhrmann's 2008 adventure flick Australia, starring Nicole Kidman and Hugh Jackman, this premiere is a perfect fit for you. The new six-episode limited series is actually a serialized version of the movie, supplemented with unused footage from the original production.

Aqua Teen Hunger Force (Season 12)

Where: Adult Swim, Max (next day)

Fans of the adult animated surreal humor sitcom are eagerly anticipating the twelfth season, which arrives eight years after the previous one with new wild stories about Frylock, Shake, Meatwad and Carl.

The first two episodes of the five-part installment premiere Sunday at 11:30pm ET, followed by the Max release the next day.
