But, as Melanie starts to feel remorse, things take a dark turn. Other fantasies on the island start to overlap with hers, leading to dangerous and horrifying outcomes.

As she goes through her daily life, including going to school and hanging out with friends, she hallucinates that her brother is still with her, guiding her actions and choices. But he's not the supportive ghost you'd hope for. Instead, he becomes a manifestation of her eating disorder.

Peach is suspicious of Joe from the get-go. Being the protective and somewhat manipulative friend, she does everything to keep Joe away from Beck. Her posh apartment becomes a backdrop for some of the most tension-filled scenes, as Joe breaks in multiple times, and Peach becomes increasingly more convinced that someone is watching her.
