Which one would you watch?

Did you know that the Rick and Morty media franchise extends far beyond the adventures of the dimension-traveling genius scientist and his grandson? There are short films, comic books, video and board games, musical releases, and of course spinoffs, all set in the same universe.

The first spinoff, Vindicators 2, based on the superhero team from Rick and Morty Season 3, premiered on Adult Swim's YouTube channel in July 2022 and quickly garnered millions of views. The second, Rick and Morty: The Anime, is in production and will reportedly arrive next year.

The success of both the original show and its first spinoff has fans speculating about what other shows, centered on the lives of Rick and Morty's secondary characters, Dan Harmon could make.

Here are five fan-suggested shows that we would actually pay to watch.

Krombopulos Michael

The story of Rick and Morty's hit man is tragic. He is a professional assassin who buys weapons from Rick, but it seems that his job is his curse.

'Oh boy, here I go killin' again,' Michael says before Morty accidentally kills him in the episode Mortynight Run, where the assassin is hired to destroy Fart.

The character has a spinoff comic book that reveals some interesting facts. For example, he is actually bisexual and had a boyfriend who left him because of his occupation.

This makes Krombopulos Michael an exciting character who certainly deserves his origin story and killer career to be shown in a solo series.

Snowball

The episode Lawnmower Dog introduced one of the best characters of the franchise, Morty's cute dog Snuffles/Snowball, who was given a high IQ by Rick's technology.

Fans were sad to say goodbye to the character, as he and other intelligent dogs went on to populate the universe, which has since been dubbed the Dog Dimension (a heavy nod to Justin Roiland's failed Dog World project).

So there's no doubt that a show about life on the planet of intelligent dogs could become something special and beloved by viewers.

Time God Jessica

The time when Jessica went to the Narnia dimension in Mort Dinner Rick Andre and spent hundreds of years frozen but conscious, making her a Time God, seems to have been forgotten by the show.

However, we wouldn't say no to seeing how this new Jessica, with her philosophical mindset, operates in the world.

Interdimensional Cable

Probably the best idea for a Rick and Morty based anthology series is to feature different shows that can be caught on the interdimensional cable, which, as we know, can receive all TV channels from every dimension, planet, reality and universe.

This would be a perfect "breaking the fourth wall" moment, because instead of just being a made-up show within a show, the interdimensional cable would become a real show, making our reality part of the Rick and Morty multiverse. Crazy, huh?

Dr. Wong

Dr. Wong is Rick's therapist and she really seems to help him. In the course of their sessions, we learned that Wong is no stranger to the weird, which is a perfect basis for her solo series.

It could be a kind of anthology, where Dr. Wong, therapist of the bizarre, helps different messed up characters from the universe (like Mr. Nimbus or Mr. Poopybutthole) with their problems.

In fact, Vindicators 2 showrunner Sarah Carbiener has already expressed interest in such a spinoff. So let's keep our fingers crossed.
